The Artist, by completing and submitting this form on ArtCall, expressly agrees to and accepts the following conditions:
1. Artist agrees that the artwork shall remain on display at the Cove Street Arts, 71 Cove Street, Portland, ME, until the end of the exhibition. The last day of the exhibition shall be July 13, 2024
2. The artist agrees to follow instructions delivery and return of their work.
3. The Artist consents and expressly agrees that Cove Street Arts may display said artwork on their premises in Portland Maine. The Artist also agrees that photographs may be taken of said artwork by Cove Street Arts and the Monotype Guild of New England (hereby referred to as MGNE) to be used for publicity purposes including social media.
4. The Artist agrees that their work is original to the artist and does not infringe upon or violate the copyright of others.
5. The Artist agrees that the submitted work is a monotype or monoprint as defined in the Artcall website here and on MGNE's website.
6. Submitted artwork must be retrieved from the exhibition space on the dates stated in the prospectus by the artist or by a designated representative. Work that is not retrieved following the exhibition will become the property of MGNE. MGNE is not responsible for the retrieval, storage or delivery of unclaimed work. MGNE does not own or lease exhibition or storage space and does not carry insurance to cover damage or loss of submitted artwork. At drop-off, artists will receive this information and sign an agreement to comply.
7. By completing this submission, the Artist specifically expresses his or her understanding and agreement that Cove Street Arts does have insurance against damage, destruction, theft, or other loss of or to the artwork while at the gallery at Portland Maine and MGNE does not have and does not accept any liability for damage, destruction, theft, or other loss during delivery to or removal from Cove Street Arts premises by the Artist or any other persons. The Artist further agrees to save and hold Cove Street Arts and MGNE harmless in the event of any such damage, destruction, theft, or other loss.
By submitting to this exhibition, I, the artist, hereby declare that I have read the foregoing release and that I hereby agree to and accept all the terms and conditions stated.
I, the artist, also agree that I have read and agree to all instructions in the MGNE Call for Entries and will abide by them.
